Bad Shepherd Beer Company

Bad Shepherd bought the old Charleston Brewing Company and all of its equipment in 2016 and started brewing that December, with Ross Williams as head brewer and Patrick Guthrie as owner. It is the house brewery for Black Sheep Burritos and Brews, and the taproom sits inside the Black Sheep restaurant on Quarrier Street downtown. About a dozen house beers pour at once, led by The Loud IPA, with sours, saisons and beers aged in wine, gin and bourbon barrels in the mix. It is the oldest of the three stops on Charleston's Brewer's Row.
