A German style doppelbock aged in French brandy barrels. Strong, rich and malty.

Brewed and poured at the Hyattsville brewpub. House beer can be bought to go with carryout orders, and sixth and quarter barrel kegs can be ordered from the brewmaster with at least a week's notice. The website lists no store or bar distribution.

Aroma
Dark fruit, toffee and a little brandy and oak.
Appearance
Deep brown with ruby edges.
Taste
Rich caramel and bread crust malt, raisin and plum, warming alcohol and a smooth oak finish.
