A saison brewed with French saison yeast and named after a rapid on the New River. The brewery also makes a Chardonnay wine barrel aged version, sold only in glass bottles.

Bottles and draft go out through four West Virginia wholesalers, The American Beer Company, Northern Eagle, Mountain Eagle and Mountain State Beverage, which together cover nearly every county. Look for it at bars, restaurants and bottle shops. The Fayetteville taproom pours pints and flights and sells bottles and growlers to go, March through December.

Aroma
Spicy, with barley and wheat sweetness.
Appearance
Light gold with haze.
Taste
Spicy and peppery from the yeast, with light fruit and a little lemon.
Overall
A light, spicy saison that suits warm days.
