Longtime homebrewers Ken Linch and Nate Herrold brewed their first batch, Long Point Lager, in January 2010 in a small building just south of Fayetteville. Nate's brother Adam Herrold joined as a brewer in 2016. The lineup leans on German lagers and Belgian styles, and many of the beers go out in bottles. The open-air taproom, built from local hemlock timber with a beer garden, opened in 2018 and has a food truck most days. It is closed in for winter and open March through December.
