Two brothers started Thick-N-Thin in a shopping center south of downtown Hagerstown, with head brewer Jake Beemer running the brewhouse. The idea is a little of every style, so the board runs from a light lager and a Czech style pilsner to hazy IPAs, pickle sours and barrel aged wild ales. There is a self-pour tap wall, free popcorn, trivia on Wednesdays and live music Thursday through Saturday. There is no kitchen, so bring food or order in, and dogs are welcome. Glampsite, the session IPA, won Best in Show at the 2024 Baltimore Craft Beer Festival.
