SweetWater opened in Atlanta in 1997, started by Freddy Bensch and Kevin McNerney, and calls itself the largest craft brewer in the Southeast. 420 Extra Pale Ale is its flagship. Aphria bought it in 2020, and it became part of Tilray Brands when the two companies merged in 2021.
