Streetcar 82 Brewing Co

A small, Deaf-owned brewery in a former auto repair shop on Rhode Island Avenue, started by friends and Gallaudet graduates who began as homebrewers. Owner and head brewer Mark Burke was a school administrator before brewing full time, and the staff is all Deaf, so plenty of regulars order in ASL. The name comes from the 82 streetcar line that ran up Rhode Island Avenue from DC to Hyattsville and College Park until 1958. There is a beer garden with cornhole and giant Jenga, food trucks on some nights, and you can bring takeout from nearby spots.
