Red Oak Brewery has brewed Bavarian style lagers in Whitsett since 1990 and calls itself North Carolina's oldest craft lager brewery. The beers are unfiltered, unpasteurized and brewed under the 1516 Bavarian Purity Law. The site also lists a Lager Haus and Biergarten with events, food trucks and live music, and the facility is 21 and up only.
