Pen Druid is a 27 acre permaculture farm at the foot of the Blue Ridge in Rappahannock County, run by the Carney brothers. It brews spontaneous and native yeast beer in copper-lined coolships with a wood-fired brewhouse, and also makes natural cider. The site calls itself Pen Druid Fermentation. The taproom has outdoor seating only, and hours change with the seasons.
