Oliver Brewing Co.

Oliver started in 1993 in the basement of Bill Oliver's Wharf Rat, the Baltimore pub that became the Pratt Street Ale House, which makes it one of Maryland's oldest breweries. After 13 years on Shannon Drive in East Baltimore, it moved all production in 2026 to a 44,000 square foot building on Jumpers Hole Road in Millersville, off Route 2. Forward Brewing moved its own brewing into the same building, and Oliver also contract brews for other Maryland brands. A taproom, kitchen and dog-friendly beer garden were set to open there in late October or early November 2026. Oliver is known for English-style ales and its Bmore series of canned beers.
