Old Thunder Brewing Company

Pittsburgh, PA · since 2020

Old Thunder Brewing is in the former Blawnox post office on Freeport Road, just outside Pittsburgh. It started selling cans in December 2020 and opened the taproom in April 2021. The beer leans on lagers, hoppy ales and cask ales, plus strong beers and mixed fermentation saisons aged in wood. There is no kitchen, so food trucks park out front on most days it is open. Dogs are not allowed, though service animals are welcome.
