Newburgh Brewing Company opened in 2012 in a brick building from the 1850s near the Hudson River, and calls itself Orange County's first craft brewery. The fourth-floor taproom is set up like a German beer hall, with long communal tables, big river views and live music most weekends. The kitchen serves American food, and the taproom also pours wine, cider and cocktails.
