Mountain Layers is a 7 barrel brewery and taproom on Everett Street in downtown Bryson City, by the Tuckasegee River. Mark and Kim Pettit opened it in 2017. The taproom has two bars, indoor seating and a rooftop deck, and a food truck is on site. The brewery says it keeps a mix of flagships, one-offs and seasonals on 17 taps.
