MadTree started in 2013 as friends brewing in a garage and now runs taprooms and restaurants around Cincinnati, in Oakley, Blue Ash, Over-the-Rhin and Summit Park. The Oakley Taproom is a renovated airplane hangar with a biergarten and a full food menu. The brewery says it is a B Corp and gives 1% of sales to local environmental nonprofits. Its fall season is built around Zieglerfest and Oktoberfest.
