Lasting Brass is a small batch brewery in the Old Pin Shop, a building first put up in 1729 as a gristmill in Oakville, CT. Head brewer and owner Ed Silva has been brewing in the Waterbury area for nearly 15 years. The taproom pours a rotating set of lagers, New England IPAs, a barleywine and a few wild ales, and it also sells wine and cider. Food trucks and seasonal events are on the calendar.
