Labatt USA sells Labatt Blue, Blue Light and a few line extensions in the United States under license from Labatt Brewing Company, which AB InBev owns. The US business has been independent of the Canadian firm since 2009 and sits inside FIFCO USA. Saothair Capital Partners bought FIFCO USA in a deal announced in September 2026, and the company is going back to the name North American Breweries. Blue and Blue Light have been brewed at the Genesee brewery in Rochester, New York since May 2024.
