Jailbreak Brewing Company

Founders Kasey and Justin left tech and government contracting jobs, homebrewed in Justin's backyard and opened Jailbreak in 2014 as Howard County's first production brewery. The name is about breaking out of the nine to five, with a nod to jailbreaking phones. The North Laurel taproom pours 12 to 15 house beers next to a full bar, and the FoodWorks kitchen added in 2018 is known for its dry aged beef program. The brewery made more than 4,400 barrels in 2022 and sends cans and kegs to over 400 accounts in Maryland.
