Iron Key Brewing Co.
Columbus, NC · since 2020
Iron Key Brewing Co. opened in 2020 in the former North Carolina state prison in Columbus, NC. The owners kept the original steel doors and the prison key, which hangs framed on the bar's back wall. The taproom serves a full beer list, a food menu and weekend brunch. The walls and yard of the old prison still stand around the brewery.
