Inverness Brewing sits on Inverness, a 100-acre historic farm at the corner of Monkton Road and Markoe Road with black angus cattle and 600 hop plants. Brewing started in August 2018, which made it the first farm brewery in Baltimore County. The beers follow the seasons and use what the farm grows, from light lagers to a West Coast double IPA. You drink in the old barns and horse stalls or out on the lawn, open rain or shine, and the brewery's own food truck makes brick oven pizza. Dogs are not allowed.
