Hunter-Gatherer has been brewing in Columbia since 1995 and is the oldest locally owned brewery in town, run by owner and brewer Kevin Varner. The brewery moved into the restored Curtiss-Wright Hangar near downtown, which opened in January 2018. The taproom serves a menu of pizzas, sandwiches, salads and appetizers alongside its beers on tap.
