Hub City Brewery

Jake Blackmon and his father Dave, who started Smoketown Brewing, sold that brewery and opened Hub City in downtown Hagerstown in early 2025. It fills the old City Farmers Market building on West Church Street, now called the MarketPlace Collective, with a brewery, a cocktail bar pouring spirits from sister company Church Street Distilling, a stage for live music and food from Messy Jessy's. The beer list covers a Vienna lager, a hefeweizen, a red, a brown, a run of stouts from Baby Bear to the bourbon barrel Papa Bear, and a couple of IPAs, plus a few guest taps. There is a big free parking lot.
