Hopkins Farm Brewery

The Hopkins family has farmed the corner of Rider Lane and Level Road since the 1920s and opened the brewery on the farm in 2020. Brewer Aaron Hopkins worked at DuClaw and Independent Brewing and started Chesapeake Malting Company in 2014, so much of the beer is built on barley grown and malted right here. The taproom, patio and lawn are first come, first served, with food trucks and live music most days and a produce stand on the property. Families are welcome, dogs are not.
