Fonta Flora Brewery

Morganton, NC · since 2013

Fonta Flora opened in 2013 in a brick building in downtown Morganton. Most of the brewing now happens at Whippoorwill Farm near Nebo, with a third taproom at Optimist Hall in Charlotte. It leans on North Carolina grain, fruit and foraged ingredients, and makes IPAs, lagers, spontaneous and wild ales and barrel aged stouts and barleywines. The brewery says it made about 5,800 barrels in 2025.
