Double Groove Brewing Company

Two couples, Mark and Lisa and Craig and Donna, opened Double Groove next to White Tiger Distillery in Forest Hill with a ribbon cutting in January 2020. Mark and Craig left long careers at a Maryland health system, and Mark trained at the American Brewers Guild before starting up the five-barrel brewhouse. The theme is classic rock on vinyl, from Craig's collection of more than 3,000 albums, and the name comes from records cut with two grooves on one side. The taproom has an outdoor deck and a tap list heavy on German lagers, with a few big IPAs.
