Dig Deep Brewing Co

Dig Deep opened in 2019 in the restored Footer's Dye Works building in downtown Cumberland, steps from the Great Allegheny Passage and the C&O Canal towpath. The name honors the miners and laborers who built Mountain Maryland, and the brewery aims to use local hops, honey, coffee and fruit where it can. All 16 taps are brewed on site, from a hefeweizen and a Mexican lager to West Coast and hazy IPAs and a white coffee stout. The taproom is open daily and dog friendly, with live music, comedy nights and food trucks. The county tourism site also lists a second venue, The Deep End, in Frostburg.
