Denizens Brewing Co

Emily Bruno, Jeff Ramirez and Julie Verratti opened Denizens in downtown Silver Spring in 2014 as the first production brewery in Montgomery County. In 2019 they moved production to a bigger brewery and taproom at Riverdale Park Station, which the brewery now calls home; the original Silver Spring taproom is no longer listed on its site. The Riverdale Park taproom has a full kitchen, a pet friendly patio and a short walk to the College Park Metro stop. Ramirez runs the brewing, with hoppy core beers, a German lager series called Hike the Alps and a sour and barrel program.
