Buffalo Mountain Brewery opened in Floyd in April 2018 and shares its building with McDaniel's Tavern. The brewery makes small batches on a 2 barrel system, with each brew day making a double batch. The taproom serves its own beers along with tavern snacks, and it hosts Tuesday bingo and live music on weekends. Active duty, retired military and first responders get 10% off with ID.
