Brookeville Beer Farm

Co-owners Phil Muth and Tim McDonnell run this farm brewery on Georgia Avenue in Brookeville. The farm went in during spring 2014 and now has two hop yards, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, shiitake mushrooms and beehives, much of which ends up in the beer and the kitchen. Beer comes off a ten-barrel system, and the open kitchen turns out brick oven pizza. Under the Beer Farm name the company now cans its beer, runs its own distribution in Maryland and DC, and partners on a 30-tap Beer Farm at Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville.
