Brewery and the Beast

Brewery and the Beast opened on Main Street in Accident in 2024, the first brewery Garrett County had seen in years, and it now calls itself the county's only brewery. It is a brewpub built around the smoker, with house-smoked pulled pork, pit beef and wings, and a menu that changes with what local farms have. The taps rotate often between lagers, IPAs, stouts and seasonals brewed on site, with cocktails and wine too. A second spot, Brewery and the Beast Social House, pours the beer at 215 E Alder St in downtown Oakland, and they cater events around Deep Creek Lake.
