Blowing Rock Brewing opened its first brewery and restaurant in Blowing Rock in 2013. The Blowing Rock Ale House & Inn serves food and beer on Sunset Drive, and the main production brewery and canning line is in Hickory. The Hickory Draft House restaurant closed on June 30, 2024. Beers are sold in North Carolina grocery stores, restaurants and bottle shops.
