Ballast Point Brewing Co

San Diego, CA · since 1996 · 3 locations

Ballast Point started in 1996 inside the Home Brew Mart in San Diego and is best known for Sculpin IPA. Kings & Convicts has owned the brand since 2020, when it bought it from Constellation Brands. The Miramar brewery was sold in 2024, so most of the beer is now brewed under contract, and the Little Italy tasting room keeps a small R&D brewhouse. You can visit Little Italy in San Diego, Long Beach and Anaheim.
