A winter beer named for Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, part porter and part Scottish ale. Shipyard retired it to variety packs in 2015.

Poured on draft and sold to go at the Portland tasting room. The beer finder lists stores that recently bought the beer, names none on the page, and says to call first. The site points Florida buyers to a separate app.

Aroma
Caramel, chocolate and toffee with deep toast, a hint of smoke and a touch of citrus and fruit.
Appearance
Very dark brown with a tan head that holds.
Taste
Mildly sweet caramel core with a moderate roasty char, some fruity esters and a clean, lightly citrus hop bitterness.
Overall
Medium bodied, balanced and a little warming, a good cool weather beer.
