A traditional German hefeweizen with a name that nods to a storybook monkey. Brewed with German yeast and wheat malt.

Look for it at: Frisco Columbia, Frisco Crofton
Brewed for its own taproom and the two Frisco restaurants, Frisco Columbia under the same roof and Frisco Crofton in Gambrills. The four core beers are always on draft at all three. The brewery stepped back from packaging and wholesale, so do not expect it in liquor stores.

Aroma
Banana and clove with fresh bread.
Appearance
Hazy gold with a creamy white head.
Taste
Soft wheat, banana fruit and clove spice with light bitterness.
Overall
A by the book hefeweizen. The bar also mixes it with a peach sour as a beermosa.
