A cross between a Scotch ale, an IPA and an American brown ale, brewed with brown sugar. It first came out in 1999 and is in the Pass The Aux Variety Pack.

Dogfish Head is sold nationwide through wholesalers and 60 Minute IPA is its best selling beer. In Pennsylvania look for cases and kegs at beer distributors, six-packs at licensed grocery and convenience stores, and draft at bars. In Maryland most beer is sold at liquor stores, since few grocery stores there hold a beer license. In West Virginia it is in grocery stores, convenience stores and gas stations. Dogfish Head is a short drive from Delaware, so Maryland shelves often carry more of its beers. Small Batch and Caution Cap beers go to fewer states.

Aroma
Floral and herbal hops, toffee, caramel and cocoa.
Appearance
Clear dark brown with off-white foam.
Taste
Malty caramel and herbal hops with a little roast and coffee, and a bittersweet finish.
